The mentality we have towards something or someone holds us captive and our minds are limited to a specific way of thinking. When your way of thinking is distorted with negative thoughts then most probably shows how you will react towards certain things that are part of our daily lives.
Our attitude contributes so much to the kind of mentality that revolves in our minds. I have interacted with people or have been in many discussions and you will hear the "mentalities" are too loud as compared to "the positive attitude" talks. I once challenged myself to not let the " negativities" be louder than the "positivities", I can promise you its has been a journey of back and forth but with baby steps of improvement. The growth has been gradual and its never a walk in the park, however consistency is what keeps one going, I decided to challenge some of my friends too on a personal level and the mindset shifted, hence one feels less burdened and stops fighting unwanted battles.
The moment you realize that there's something holding you back, make time for yourself and have a one on one meeting with yourself and reflect on the following:
1. Your way of thinking,
2. How you react towards certain things,
3. For how long has the pattern been there?
4. What can I do to break the pattern?
5. How can I overcome and impact myself and others?
As I conclude, be careful that you do not become a slave of your way of thinking (Mentality) and also your attitude and how you react towards certain things or even people.
DO NOT ALLOW MENTALITIES TO RULE YOUR LIFE, DEAL WITH THEM AND IMPACT OTHERS BY HELPING THEM OVERCOME.
